Welcome to Active Primary Sports, The dedicated provider of sports activities in schools and the local community.

We offer a professional solution to improving the quality of PE being delivered in schools and ensure a varied curriculum of activities are available for all to enjoy.

During the school holidays we offer fun, engaging and stimulating sports programme for all abilities and interests which is funded by East Sussex County Council. Its a fun, Active environment for all sports fans!

GREAT NEWS! SUPPORTING THE PHASING OF SPORT
BACK INTO SCHOOLS

Following the government's decisions to gradually phase schools back into operation, we are amending our delivery of sports to cater for the advised distancing measures.

To keep to these measures, all our PE activities will be based around health, fitness and Personal Best (PB). This removes use of equipment and therefore reducing the spread of Covid-19 through sharing.

All lessons will be delivered outdoors as this is the best form of ventilation and children will be designated to their own working areas throughout each PE Lesson.

If there is capacity for each child to use their own piece of equipment without sharing, we can consider these options as long as a cleaning of equipment procedure is in place at the end of use. This will help keep equipment ready for use by others.

Delivery of PE will be taught from a distance to ensure non-contact guidelines are met. Lessons will be clearly prepared and set up prior to the lesson starting.

Where possible we will ensure these rules are fully met by all coaches and users, however you must understand that younger children will find social distancing a lot harder to adhere to within a school environment.

Mental Health and Well-Being Our sports programmes are connected to improving the mental health and the well being of each individual. Encouraging children to be active is what we do. Excersice is a great way to keep your minds active and reduces stress levels in the body. Excersice stimulates the production of endorphins, which are natural mood lifters and takes away the feeling of being stressed or depressed. This leads to making you feel more relaxed, opstimic.
