Job Descirption 

As a Sports Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning and implementing of engaging sports lessons for children aged 4-12 years old. You will need to have a passion for sports and a strong understanding of rules, games, and technical skills.

 You will need to: 


• Create lesson plans that cater to different skill levels   


• Incorporate fun activities to keep students engaged   


• Provide individualised feedback to help students improve

• Over 18 years old

• Available to work during the school holidays

• Be a UK/EU citizen with 2 x right to work ID’s

• Previous experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team

• Professional 

• Reliable 

Resposibilities:

• Teach children the fundamental skills of various sports than can be transferred into other sports

•  Organise sports events and competitions for children i.e. sports days, adventure days, leavers events 

• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback

Qualifications:

• Desirable to have a level 2 qualification / PGCE

• Qualifications in Physical Education or a related field

• Previous experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with students from 4 to 12 years of age

• Have initiative and the ability to work independently

• High level of safeguarding awareness

• Paediatric first aid is desirable
