Camp Manager
Job Description
As a Camp Manager at Active Primary Sports, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our camp programs. You will be in charge of planning and organising activities, managing staff, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and providing an exceptional service. Your role will involve leading a team, coordinating schedules, and communicating effectively with parents and children. You will be responsible for the professionalism of staff on site, the delivery of the programme and excitement levels for everyone.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement camp programmes
- Plan daily activities and events
- Coordinate staff schedules
• Ensure the safety of the children
- Enforce safety protocols
- Respond to emergencies
• Provide an excellent user experience
- Communicate with parents
- Address children’s needs and concerns
• Maintain camp facilities
- Oversee maintenance and cleanliness
- Manage equipment and supplies
- Ensure the safe signing in and out of camps
- Access to our booking system
Qualifications
• Desirable to have a level 2 childcare qualification / PGCE
• Previous experience in camp events or a leadership role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Paediatric first aid is desirable
• Knowledge of sports and outdoor activities
• Ability to pass a background check
• Over 18 years old
• Available to work during the school holidays
• Be a UK/EU citizen with 2 x right to work ID’s
